MHV Clinic sits on Winsley Street, right on the southern edge of Fitzrovia, so for most people in the area we are a five to ten minute walk away.

From Fitzroy Square or Charlotte Street, head south towards Oxford Street and you will reach Winsley Street in around ten minutes. From Goodge Street station it is a straight walk down Berners Street or Newman Street. Oxford Circus station (Central, Victoria and Bakerloo lines) is about two minutes from our door.
Fitzrovia is full of studios, agencies and media offices, and many of our patients from the area spend long days at a screen or on their feet on set. The problems we see most often are neck and shoulder tension, lower back pain, headaches and wrist or elbow strain from a mouse and keyboard.
Because we are so close, plenty of Fitzrovia patients come to us in a lunch break or straight after work. A first appointment includes a full assessment and treatment in the same session, and you leave with a short exercise plan you can do at your desk.
Fitzrovia is full of studios, agencies, media offices and medical practices, and many of the people we see from the area spend long days at a desk or on their feet. Because we are so close, you can come in before work, at lunchtime or on the way home without losing half a day to travel.
If your pain is linked to how you work, your osteopath will ask about your desk, your screen and how you sit, and give you simple changes and exercises you can use at work between appointments.
Goodge Street (Northern line) and Tottenham Court Road (Central, Northern and Elizabeth lines) both serve Fitzrovia, and Oxford Circus is the closest station to Winsley Street. From the north of Fitzrovia, around Warren Street and Fitzroy Square, most people simply walk down through the area to reach us.
No. You can book directly with us online or by phone.
Yes. Our osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council, which is a legal requirement to practise as an osteopath in the UK.
Your osteopath will talk through your symptoms and history, carry out an examination and explain what they think is causing the problem. Treatment usually starts in the same session if it is appropriate.
It depends on the problem and how long you have had it. Your osteopath will give you an honest view after the first assessment and review progress as you go.
Comfortable clothing you can move in is ideal. You may be asked to remove some outer layers so your osteopath can assess you properly.
We also see many patients from nearby Marylebone, Soho, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street.
